In Numeracy, we have been focusing on numbers, time, and measuring. One of our favourite activities was going outside to create our own clocks using natural materials from the forest. We used sticks for the hands and leaves, stones, and other objects to mark the numbers. This helped us learn about o’clock and half past in a fun and practical way. We also did lots of measuring outdoors, where we measured the length of different types of bears using measuring tapes and metre sticks. This helped us understand length and how to use different measuring tools.

In our topic work, we have been learning all about real bears from around the world, such as sun bears and moon bears. We explored where they live, what they eat, and how they survive in their habitats. In ICT, we used Book Creator to search for and insert pictures of these bears, helping us develop our digital skills while learning more about our topic.

In art, we got creative by using different materials such as paint, crayons, and collage. Designing and making our own magic shoes was a highlight, and we loved seeing everyone’s unique ideas come to life.
