Amazing Africa Topic
Primary 4 had a fabulous term learning all about Africa. We learnt lots about different African cultures and even had a special visit from Jessica's mum, who taught us all about her home country of Nigeria.
In Literacy, the class researched and wrote non-chronological reports about their favourite African animal and learnt how to order African countries alphabetically.
ABL provided lots of opportunities for hands-on learning including making African jewellery, painting flags, researching Africa and using Atlas's to complete maps.
We also completed lots of beautiful artwork, including these African sunset and silhouette paintings.
