P7's Fantastic First Month!

P7 have had a brilliant start to the new school year and have already been busy with lots of exciting learning and new responsibilities.

We were delighted to find out about our new Prefect roles and are looking forward to being positive role models throughout the school this year.

In Maths, we have been developing our understanding of place value, exploring the value of digits in larger numbers and using this knowledge to solve a range of challenges.

We have also started reading our new class novel, Holes by Louis Sachar. We are enjoying getting to know the characters and are excited to see how the story unfolds.

Our new topic this term is Extreme Earth. As part of this topic, we have been learning about earthquakes and have written detailed earthquake reports, using our research skills to present facts and information clearly.

It has been a busy and successful first month in P7, and we are looking forward to all the exciting learning still to come!
