P4 children have been exploring what life was like for young people living in Belfast during World War 2. They’ve learned about rationing, evacuation, the Belfast Blitz, and how everyday life changed for children their age. The pupils have shown fantastic curiosity and empathy as they discovered how brave and resilient children were during this time in history.

We have been busy practising our throwing and catching in PE and learning how important spatial awareness is in team games.

We have enjoyed getting outdoors for numeracy this autumn term! The children have been working hard with place value within 1000.
