P7 JH Extreme Earth

Primary 7 JH pupils explored our Extreme Earth topic through a range of exciting, hands-on learning experiences. They designed and built volcanoes before safely erupting them during Forest School, investigated how communities can be protected from tsunamis, and carried out a scientific investigation to create a tornado in a bottle. These practical activities helped pupils develop their scientific skills, teamwork and understanding of powerful natural forces.

P7 JH: A Fantastic Start to the Year!

Our P7 pupils have made a brilliant start to their final year at Harmony Primary School! It’s been a busy and exciting term filled with leadership, teamwork, and new experiences.

One of the highlights has been receiving our prefect roles. The pupils have taken on their responsibilities with pride — helping around the school, supporting younger classes, and being fantastic role models for others.

We’ve also enjoyed a series of team-building and leadership workshops, where everyone worked together to solve challenges, build confidence, and develop key skills that will prepare them for the transition to secondary school.

Recently, the class took part in taster workshops with the Boys’ Model, giving pupils a great insight into what post-primary life will be like.

It’s been a wonderful start to the year — and with lots more to look forward to, we can’t wait to see what the rest of P7 will bring!
