Today, our school was bursting with colour as everyone wore bright clothing to remind us how important it is to be safe and be seen when travelling to and from school on dark winter mornings.
We had an assembly led by Beverley from Sustrans Active Travel, where we learnt how to stay safe when walking or cycling to school 🚶♀️🚲
Some classes also took part in workshops, both inside and outside, learning all about reflective clothing and road safety.
Well done everyone for shining bright and staying safe!
Well done to our first stars of the week of 2026!! You have truly impressed your teachers in a range of ways this week. Keep up the great work.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our munch club packs have arrived at Harmony Hub. ![]()
This is a 6 week programme ran by Community Sports Network to encourage families to make fresh, nutritious meals along with their children.
We have 15 families signed up for this initiative and a waiting list for any further programmes.
We can’t wait to see photos of your meals ![]()
On Friday 16th January, we will be celebrating Ditch the Dark Day! Children are invited to come to school wearing brightly coloured clothes, including coats, shoes, accessories, wigs, and high-visibility or reflective items, to help raise awareness of safe travel to school, especially during the dark winter mornings and afternoons. We are encouraging everyone to walk, cycle or scoot to school where possible, making sure they can be clearly seen by car drivers by wearing bright and reflective clothing. To support this important message, we will be holding a special assembly, and classes will be working on activities to promote safe and visible travel to school during the darker months.
On Thursday 18th December, we had an extra special day filled with festive fun. The pupils arrived to school wearing their Christmas jumpers and soon met Santa himself in his Grotto! Then our fabulous dinner ladies cooked an incredible Christmas dinner for us all to enjoy! Thank you so much!
