P6 had a great time at the Folk Museum. They visited the National School to see what life was like in Victorian schools. They also played some Victorian schoolyard games and then investigated the rest of the houses and buildings in the museum. A brilliant day!
P1 had a fun day out at W5! They enjoyed taking part in a workshop called ‘In Our Nature,’ learning all about minibeasts and even met a real life African snail 🐌 They took part in a minibeast hunt and then created their own craft insects to take home. The boys and girls explored all levels of W5 and especially loved the Dinosaur exhibition and Climb-it frame! They all showed excellent behaviour, super listening skills and teamwork!
P3 recently visited Oxford Island where they explored and learnt more about the water cycle. They looked at how water affects a variety of aspects, such as animals that live on land and animals that live in water. They also discussed how plants obtain water through their roots and how it helps them to live. We were able to go pond fishing to try and physically see some of the small animals that live in fresh water.
Well done to this week's fabulous pupils of the week! You have shown our core value of Open-Mindedness in class this week and we are so proud of you all.
